To help Halal SMEs globally recover and grow from Covid-19 lockdown, iHalalExpo is being launched at the right time to support the global Halal industry. iHalalExpo will provide much needed opportunity, support and marketing platform to showcase Halal products & services from around the world. With a unique combination of webportal and mobile app iHalalExpo will provide ongoing collaboration that will empower all Halal Economy stakeholders worldwide.
The motivation to organise a virtual expo came to Dr. Hani Al-Mazeedi & Mohammed Noor after successfully conducting iHalalConference which was the first virtual conference for the global Halal industry organised between 6th of April 2020 to 8th of April 2020. The first edition of iHalalConference had 19 presenters from 12 countries who gave presentations on various topics related to Halal economy.
Just like iHalalConference, iHalalExpo is being conducted under the patronage of H.E. Mr. Ihsan ÖVÜT, the Secretary General of SMIIC (Standards and Metrology Institute For Islamic Countries), OIC (Organisation Of Islamic Cooperation). As the standardization body of the OIC, SMIIC has supported iHalalExpo to facilitate the increase of the intra-OIC trade as stipulated in the OIC-2025: Programme of Action without taking financial benefit from the organization of iHalalExpo.
iHalalExpo will be conducted over a period of 6 months between June15, 2020 to November 30, 2020 as per the following schedule:
From 15th Of June to 30th June 2020:
Registration and onboarding of Halal businesses & Halal industry stakeholders.
1st July to 31st July 2020:
Launch of Country Pavilions and display of Halal products & services from around the world.
1st August to 31st August 2020:
B2B Business matching for companies participating in iHalalExpo.
1st September to 30th September 2020:
Workshops, seminars & panel discussions on global Halal industry.
1st October to 31st October 2020:
Sustainable Development, Halal Social Entrepreneurship & Islamic Finance workshops, seminars & trainings.
1st November to 30th November 2020:
Halal start-ups & Social impact investors meet.

Participating iHalalExpo is very simple as follow:

- Select your virtual booth and Pavilion to submit your business details to the organiser.
- The organiser will setup the profile iHalalExpo web and Mobile App to market your business globally.
